My mom's a great cook! This recipe's one of my favorite ones! It's DELICIOUS!!! You can sprinkle even more Cheddar cheese on top after baking if you like. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup white sugar |
4 eggs |
2/3 cup cubed cheddar cheese |
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
3/4 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the Cheddar cheese. Combine the flour and baking powder; stir into the batter alternating with the milk until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan. 3. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. |
