Serve with my Creamy Chicken Stew, either as a side or in a bowl with the stew spooned over it or both! Ingredients:
2 cups bisquick baking mix |
2/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese |
1/2 teaspoon dried basil (rubbed between the palms of your hands to release flavor) |
1/4 cup butter, melted |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
Directions:
1. Biscuits: Combine Bisquick, milk, cheddar cheese and basil, beat with a wooden spoon for about 30 seconds. 2. Drop by tablespoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Smooth tops down with spoon. 3. Bake in 450-degree oven for 8-10 minutes. 4. While the biscuits are still on the cookie sheet, combine butter and garlic powder and pour over hot biscuits. 5. Serve. |
