Cheddar Apple Breakfast Lasagna |

I can't remember where I found this, but I haven't seen anything like it. It's wicked good, and great for Christmas morning. Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
12 slices french toast (can be made the night before; cuts down prep time) |
8 oz. sliced boiled ham |
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided |
1 20 oz. can apple pie filling |
1 cup granola with raisins |
Directions:
1. Ahead of time; stir together sour cream and brown sugar; chill. 2. Grease a 9x13 pan; heat oven to 350. 3. Place 6 slices of French toast in pan, covering bottom. 4. Layer ham, 2 cups of cheese, and rest of toast. 5. Spread apple pie filling over top, sprinkle with granola. 6. Bake for 25 minutes. 7. Top with rest of cheese, and bake 5 more minutes. 8. Top with sour cream mixture at table. |
