I found this in a Rachael Ray cookbook. This looks fabulous! Ingredients:
1 loaf french bread, split lengthwise, then cut in half |
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
10 fresh chives, chopped |
Directions:
1. Heat broiler. 2. Lightly toast bread under hot broiler. 3. Remove and cover with shredded cheese. 4. Sprinkle with chopped chives and set aside. 5. Return bread to broiler to melt cheese. 6. When cheese is bubbly and lightly browned, remove from broiler and serve. |
