add a scoop of vanilla ice cream Ingredients:
4 ginger biscuits |
4 blood oranges |
2 tbs orange juice |
55 g caster sugar |
Directions:
1. smash biscuits into crumbs 2. put them into a dish 3. peel & slice the oranges / Clementine, remove any pips 4. bring 55g castor sugar to boil with 6 tbsp of water on a medium heat until a golden caramel 5. remove from heat 6. add the juice from extra 2 oranges 7. stir in 8. to loosen caramel slightly 9. pour over your sliced oranges so they marinate in caramelised juices. 10. divide the ginger biscuits between 4 plates , top with ice cream and some caramelised orange |
