When most of a recipe comes from a can and is then mixed, I consider it a cheater's version of cooking for sure. But this fast and easy tomato soup will do in a pinch, especially if you like it spicy, like I do! Ingredients:
600 ml tomato juice |
1 cup salsa, spicy |
28 ounces diced tomatoes |
4 stalks celery, chopped |
4 green chilies, minced |
1 tablespoon chili powder |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Empty the tomato juice, diced tomatoes, and salsa in a large pot over medium heat. Add the spices. 2. After everything has warmed through, about 5-8 min, add the chopped celery. Warm through another minute more. Serve! |
