This recipe was born out of my love of butter chicken and my dislike of all the fat and work involved in making true butter chicken. I also have small children who will not tolerate peppers or chunks of onion. Ingredients:
2 lbs skinless chicken breasts |
1 cup fat free sour cream |
1 (14 ounce) can spaghetti sauce |
1 tablespoon curry |
1 teaspoon garam masala |
1 teaspoon ginger |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package chicken gravy mix |
Directions:
1. Mix sour cream, spaghetti sauce, curry, garam masala, ginger, chili powder, cinnamon and gravy mix in a small bowl. 2. Pour mixture over chicken and bake covered at 400° for 1 hour. 3. Serve over rice. |
