I came up with this years ago as an alternative to traditional french toast because I couldn't get the seasoning just right. This way you don't have to figure it out, they've done the work for you! Ingredients:
8 slices of cinnamon swirled bread |
4 eggs |
1/4 c. milk |
powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Heat large skillet over med/high heat. 2. Beat eggs and milk together in medium sized bowl. 3. Dip each slice into egg mixture making sure to coat each side. 4. Lay flat on skillet and cook until egg is done (approx. 1 min.) 5. Flip bread over and cook other side until egg is done. 6. Slide onto plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar. |
