This is the frequently requested recipe I've been using for over 15 years. Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
3 cups carrots, shredded |
1 cup oil |
4 large eggs |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a bundt pan or 13x9 inch. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon together. Add carrots and oil. Add each egg separately. Do not over mix. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. |
