Ingredients:
1 lb onion, thinly sliced
4 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced (optional)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Prepare medium-hot fire in grill with a vegetable grill rack in place.
2. Toss onions and garlic (if using) with olive oil.
3. Grill onions and garlic, tossing frequently, until slightly charred (about 10 minutes).
4. Season with salt & pepper.
5. Serve hot.
