Charoset is served at the Passover seder. This recipe is from the Cucina Ebraica cookbook. Times are guesstimates. Ingredients:
3 cups pitted chopped dates |
1 2/3 cups chopped almonds |
1/3 cup raisins |
2 apples, cored and grated |
2 large oranges, juiced |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. 2. Stir, cover and refrigerate. 3. Serve at room temperature. |
