Ingredients:
1/2 cup(s) butter softened |
3 ounce(s) cream cheese softened |
2 cup(s) sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla |
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon extract |
4 cup(s) flour |
1 teaspoon(s) baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) marmalade |
1/4 cup(s) powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, and beat well. Stir in vanilla and lemon. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to cream cheese mixture. Roll dough into a log, sixteen to eighteen inches long. Place on aluminum foil, roll up and seal. Chill for three hours. Slice dough into 3/8 inch rounds, and place on baking sheet. Spoon 1/2 tsp jam into center of each cookie. 2. Bake for 8-10 minutes at 350' 3. Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar |
