Authentic Indian Bread used to eat Indan food / curry with instead of utensiles. Ingredients:
900g chapati flour. (can be purchased in uk) |
1 pint water. |
Directions:
1. Mix flour and water to make dough. Knead well, and leave to stand for 15-20min. 2. Make small balls - the size of a small fist, and roll into flat circles. 3. Put this onto a flat frying pan or Indian Tawa pan. (can be bought in UK). 4. Cook both sides, turning and rotating as theflour bubbles up. 5. Serve with curry - warm. |
