This is great added to Korean Mondue Soup. Ingredients:
1/4 lb lean beef |
2 cups boiling water |
1/3 cup soy sauce |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped |
Directions:
1. Cut the meat into 3-in long strips with the fibers running from end to end. Cook the beef in the water until it is tender. Drain off the water. Add the soy sauce, sugar and ginger to the beef in a small pan, cover and simmer very gently until only a small amount of liquid remains. Be careful that the meat does not burn. Tear the meat in strips to serve. |
