Another Popular North Indian Vegetarian dish, which is good in Fiber and Protien Ingredients:
2 cups uncooked garbanzo beans |
1 tbsp oil |
2 large tomato |
2 large onions |
1 clove garlic |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Soak Chick Peas (also known as Garbanzo Beans) for 7 - 8 hours in water 2. Pressure Cook the beans for 15 - 20 minutes 3. Fry onions in 1 tbsp oil till golden brown 4. Add tomato to the mix and fry for few more minutes 5. Add 1 tbsp Chana Masala (available in any Indian Grocery Store across North America) 6. Add 1 tsp salt 7. Add Cooked Beans and add some water 8. Bring it to boil and it's ready to be served !! 9. Flavor it with Cilantro, Fresh Lime and Freshly chopped Onions |
