spicey mushrooms cooked with garlic and dry sherry Ingredients:
1/2 pounds oyster or chantarelle mushrooms. |
4 cloves of garlic slivered |
3 table spoons virgin olive oil |
14 cup dry sherry |
1/2 cup finely chopped flatleaf parsley |
generous pinch of cayenne pepper |
salt to taste |
Directions:
1. heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. put the mushrooms in and toss to be coated. add garlic and cook for few seconds. sprinkle 2. little salt. turn mushrooms do can be cooked on all sides. sprinkle with cayenne pepper.add dry sherry and toss mushrooms and cook for about a minute. take away from heat . toss mix with chopped parsley and put in clay serving dishes. serve immediately ... 3. crusty bread for dipping in sauce and some chilled fino sheryy or LaIna. |
