A very nice change of pace in this elegant brunch casserole. Enjoy Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups seasoned croutons |
3/4 teaspoon mustard |
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese |
2-1/2 cups milk |
2 pounds sausage |
4 eggs |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Place croutons in a rectangular buttered pan. 2. Place cheese on top of croutons. 3. Fry sausage then drain well and put on top of cheese. 4. Beat eggs, mustard and milk together then pour over meat. 5. Cover and refrigerate overnight. 6. The next morning mix 1/2 cup milk with mushroom soup and pour over top of casserole. 7. Bake at 300 for 1-1/2 hours. |
