Ingredients:
8 cups water |
6 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons grated peeled fresh ginger |
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons) |
12 chamomile tea bags |
4 (2-inch-long) strips lemon rind |
ice |
lemon wedges (optional) |
Directions:
1. Bring 8 cups water to a boil in a 3-quart saucepan. Remove pan from heat; add honey and next 4 ingredients (through lemon rind). Steep 1 hour and 30 minutes. 2. Pour tea mixture through a sieve into a pitcher; discard solids. Cover and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled. Serve over ice, and garnish with lemon wedges, if desired. |
