Just a quick recipe for Chai I found on the web - this is great when I'm sick. Ingredients:
4 bags black tea |
10 cardamom seeds |
2 cinnamon sticks (crushed) |
3 tablespoons granulated sugar |
1 pinch ground pepper |
milk |
Directions:
1. Bring 1 1/2 quarts of water to a boil. 2. Add tea, cardamom, cinnamon, and pepper. 3. Return to a boil. 4. Add sugar and remove from heat. 5. Cover and let stand 5 minutes to steep. 6. Serve with milk to taste. |
