This is an indispensable masala in most Indian homes. Amazing flavor! Use it to pep up just about anything! Ingredients:
6 teaspoons cumin seeds, lightly roasted on a griddle for 1 min. and then ground |
3 teaspoons amchur powder (dried raw mango powder) |
2 teaspoons black salt |
1/2 teaspoon white salt |
1 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Mix all the above ingredients and store in a bottle. 2. Can be used for sprinkling over fruit, salad, cooked vegetables, fried potatoes, boiled potatoes, tandoori or roasted meats. |
