This recipe goes with Riverboat Salad Ingredients:
1 cup water |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1/2 cup vinegar |
2 cups olive oil |
1 cup catsup |
2 teaspoons celery salt |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon white pepper |
1 large onion, grated |
2 cloves garlic, minced |
2 1/2 ounces blue cheese, crumbled |
Directions:
1. Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil 10 minutes. Stir in lemon juice; boil an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat; let cool. Stir in vinegar. Transfer mixture to a large mixing bowl. 2. Gradually add oil, beating constantly. Add remaining ingredients; beat until thickened and well blended. Cover; refrigerate. |
