This is a wonderful dish to make for a large crowd! Ingredients:
1/2 lb. of julienned carrots |
1/2 lb. of chopped onions |
3 qts. of chicken stock |
3 lb. coarsely chopped celery |
3 qts. of hot milk |
1 c. of margarine |
1 c. of all-purpose flour |
1 tbsp. of salt |
1 tsp. of ground white pepper |
Directions:
1. You begin by pouring your stock into a large pot over medium flame. 2. After this is boiling, add your celery, carrots and onion. 3. In a separate bowl ,wisk the flour, salt, pepper, and milk. Once this is whisked, add this also. 4. Let this boil approx. 10 min. 5. Now you want to strain the veggies using a sieve. 6. And Serve! |
