Have had this recipe for quite a while. Just recently it was served (by a caterer) at a luncheon I was at. They also added chinese noodles which gave it a wonderful crunch. I think that I will try it with candied pecans the next time I make it. Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/4 of an onion, grated (recipe did not stipulate size of onion) |
1/3 cup vinegar |
1 cup olive oil |
1 tablespoon celery seed |
Directions:
1. Combine the sugar, mustard, salt and onion. 2. Add the vinegar and olive oil and beat well till combined. 3. Add celery seeds and whisk all together to blend. |
