this is a tasty set of potatoes Ingredients:
2 x celery root, peeled and cut into large chunks |
2 x yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks |
1 cup milk |
1 stick (1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons) of butter |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Steam the celery root and potatoes in a stovetop steamer until tender and easily pierced with a knife. Meanwhile gently heat the milk and butter together in a small pot, until the butter has melted. 2. Put potatoes and celery root through a food mill, or, alternately, mash with a potato masher. Stir in the milk and butter and season with salt and pepper. |
