A great snack or appetizer to please my fellow gorgonzola-heads. It is said to be delish with a nice glass of chilled pinot grigio, but I wouldn't know as I don't imbibe. ;o) Ingredients:
8 ounces gorgonzola |
1/4 cup dry white wine |
10 celery ribs, cleaned and cut 6-inch long |
salt & pepper |
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup almonds or 1/4 cup pecans |
Directions:
1. Mix gorgonzola, nuts and wine in a bowl with wooden spoon till well blended. Taste, then add salt and pepper if needed. 2. Spread into individual celery ribs and serve. |
