My Brother in law CB gave me this recipe many years ago. It easy to make and tastes good. Ingredients:
1 pound crabmeat |
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs |
1 large egg |
about 1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon black pepper |
1 teaspoon worcester sauce |
1 teaspoon dry mustard |
1 teaspoon old bay or your favorite seafood seasoning |
Directions:
1. In a bowl mix the bread crumbs egg and seasonings 2. Add crabmeat and mix gently but thoroughly 3. If dry add some more mayonnaise 4. Shape into six cakes 5. Pan fry in just enough butter to prevent sticking 6. About 5 minutes on each side or until brown |
