~Buffet Beluga~
Ingredients:
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups cream style cottage cheese
16 oz cream cheese,softened
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons powdered sugar,sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 oz red caviar,chilled
cocktail bread (and,or) crackers
Directions:
1. Combine gelatin and water in pan,heat until gelatin dissolves.
2. Press cottage cheese through sieve.
3. In bowl,mix the cottage cheese,cream cheese,and sour cream until smooth.
4. Beat in powdered sugar,and vanilla.
5. Gradually blend about 1 cup of the cheese mixture into gelatin.
6. Return to remaining cheese mixture,stir to combine.
7. Place into a 5 cup mold,chill until firm.
8. Unmold onto platter,top with caviar,have party bread and crackers adjoined.
