I was looking for a different way to fix cauliflower and found this recipe. It has a lot of flavor, you even can spice it up with a little Tabsco . Ingredients:
1 medium cauliflower, cut into flowerets |
2/3 cup sliced celery |
1 cup sour cream |
2 tablespoons mayonnaise |
2 tablespoons chopped parsley |
1/2 teaspoon each salt and dried thyme leaves |
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1/2 cup dry white wine or chicken broth |
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350.F 2. Cook cauliflower about 6 minutes in boiling salyed water until just tender. Drain. Combine with celery. Put into 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole. 3. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, salt, thyme, cheese and wine. Stir to blend. 4. Spoon over cauliflower and celery. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and paprika. 5. Bake, uncovered, at 350.F for about 25 minutes or until top is golden. |
