Cauliflower Peas Saute

A brief appetizer. Very healthy veggie!!
Ingredients:
cauliflower - 1 cup (chopped)
green peas - 1 cup
black pepper - 2 tsp
powdered cumin seeds - 2 tsp
turmeric powder - a pinch
melted butter - 1 tsp
salt - as required
curry leaves - few (www.bit.ly/ce3djg)
Directions:
1. Soak the chopped cauliflower in salted hot water (kills germs, insects, pesticides etc) - 10 minutes
2. Boit the chopped cauliflower and the peas in the microwave (10 to 15 minutes), in between pause the oven and mix some salt and turmeric powder to the water.
3. Once the cauliflower and the peas are cooked, drain the water (if any) and keep them separate.
4. In a microwave safe deep pan, add melted butter, pepper powder and curry leaves. Keep this in the oven for one and a half minutes (without closing the pan)
5. Mix the cooked vegetables to this butter mixture and keep it in the oven for 5 minutes.
6. Ready to serve!
