A great recipe in of itself- melts in your mouth. super yummy and a great way to get kids to eat their veges. Ingredients:
1 large potato, peeled and diced |
1 large cauliflower, broken into florets |
1 medium carrot, peeled and cut |
3 medium garlic cloves |
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
4 cups water |
2 cups grated cheese |
3/4 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon caraway seed |
black pepper |
Directions:
1. place potato, cauliflower except 2 cups for later, carrot, garlic, onion, salt, and water in sauce pan. 2. bring to a boil and then simmer until everything is tender. 3. put everything in a blender and put back into a saucepan. 4. steam the rest of cauliflower until tender. 5. add cauliflower to the pureed and top with cheese. |
