I found this in the Tri-city news back in 2005. It's vegetarian, easy and very delicious. It says it is a zero fat dish and it cost about $7 to make.
Ingredients:
4 cups potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
3/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
2 tomatoes, peeled and chopped
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 teaspoons water
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
Directions:
1. Select a large stockpot with lid, add all ingredients and gently cook for about an hour. Stir once or twice.
