This recipe came out of the Arkansas Magazine...Front Porch Its a very good dip... Ingredients:
1 cup chopped pecans |
2 tablespoons butter |
2 packages softened cream cheese (8 oz size) |
1 cup sour cream |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 packages dried beef (2 1/2 oz each), chopped |
4 teaspoons diced onion (can use chopped green onion) |

Directions:
1. In a skillet, saute pecans in butter until golden; set aside. 2. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. 3. Add sour cream and garlic powder; mix well. 4. Stir in beef and onion. 5. Top with pecans. 6. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until heated through. 7. Makes 3 1/2 cups of dip |
