Catie's Lower Sugar Chocolate Chip Cookies |

We live at high altitude, so we use an extra 1/4 cup of flour. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 eggs |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 1/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet |
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugars well until light and fluffy. 2. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. 3. Add 1 cup of the flour, baking soda and salt, mix well. 4. Add remaining 1 1/2 cups of flour, mix well. 5. Add chocolate chips and combine. 6. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. 7. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. |
