alternate fish for pork or beef in this comfort dish... Ingredients:
3 lbs. catfish |
3 ribs of celery-chopped |
1 bell pepper-chopped |
1 small onion-chopped |
3 red poatoes-cubed |
1 1/2 cup water |
1 tsp salt |
3 tbsp butter |
3 tbsp flour |
1 qt milk |
1 small can evap. milk |
pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. cook the fish and veggies in water add salt 2. till fish is tender to pull out bones. 3. se aside. 4. melt butter and flour;add milk. 5. cook until thickened. 6. stir in evap. milk,add the fish and veggies. 7. simmer till veggies are tender. |
