This is an awesome rice recipe that is easy to make, has great flavors and goes good with just about anything grilled. Serve with confidence and pride and watch the glowing reviews come in.
Ingredients:
1/2 small red onion diced
3 cloves garlic minced
3 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 cup wild rice rinsed
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup salted cashews chopped
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
1. Cook onions and garlic in butter until tender.
2. Add the rice then stir to coat with butter and cook for another minute.
3. Add broth and bring to a boil then reduce to simmer and cook 40 minutes.
4. Drain excess water and add cashews and pepper then serve immediately.
