This is a dish from the Malaysia Hotel in Bangkok. I think they meant to call it Cashew Nut Three Taste , but test is what it says on their menu. It's a great spicy entree. Ingredients:
cashew nuts |
shallots |
lime juice |
chilli |
salt |
Directions:
1. Roast some cashew nuts in a moderate oven until they lightly browned. (Careful, they burn suddenly!) 2. Then add a similar amount of finely chopped spring onions. 3. Chop up a couple of seeded chillies (the tiny birds-eye ones - interestingly the Thais call these prik kee noo which means mouse shit chilli ). 4. Then sprinkle liberally with lime juice and salt to taste. |
