This is my aunt's dish. Haven't tried it yet . But gonna try soon! Ingredients:
1/2 c onion |
1/2 c celery |
2 tbls butter |
1/2 c chicken broth |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
2 tbls soy sauce |
1 1/2 c cooked rice |
2 c cooked chicken |
cashew nuts |
chow mein noodles |
Directions:
1. Cook onion and celery in butter until tender. 2. Add mushroom soup, chicken broth and soy sauce. 3. Simmer for a few minutes. 4. Add cooked rice and chicken. 5. Pour in a 9x13 inch baking pan and bake 15 minutes at 350*. 6. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with cashew nuts and chow mein noodles. 7. Return to oven and bake 20 more minutes. |
