Ingredients:
4 slices dense white bread |
1 tomato, sliced |
1/4 pound mozzarella cheese |
salt |
freshly ground black pepper |
1/4 cup basil leaves, torn |
extra virgin olive oil |
Directions:
1. To each slice of bread, place 1 slice of mozzarella and 1 slice of tomato. Season with salt and pepper. Place in a toaster oven and toast for 3 minutes, or until cheese begins to melt. Remove from the toaster oven and top with torn basil and a drizzle of olive oil. |
