Carrots With Balsamic

This is a recipe I made up several years ago when I got into understanding what balsamic was all about. I love balsamic vinegar on just about everything and this is a recipe I concocted and really enjoy. Hope you do as well.
Ingredients:
6 medium carrots peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Place carrots in a saucepan with 1/4 cup water, 1 tablespoon butter and salt.
2. Cover tightly and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
3. Combine brown sugar, 2 tablespoons butter and balsamic vinegar and cook until well blended.
4. Pour over carrots and serve.
