This is creamy and goes well with almost any meat or poultry. Ingredients:
8 cups sliced carrots |
1 small onion,chopped |
1 tbls. butter |
1 can (10-3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup,undiluted |
1 can(4oz.) mushroom stems and pieces, drained |
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 cup soft bread crumbs |
Directions:
1. place carrots in a pan and cover with water. 2. bring to a boil 3. reduce heat and cover and cook till tender. 4. meanwhile,in a small skillet, saute onion in butter until tender 5. drain carrots andadd onion,soup, mushrooms and cheese 6. transfer to a greased 2-1/2 qt. baking dish 7. sprinkle with bread crumbs 8. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 to 35 min. |
