Ingredients:
1 16oz package baby carrots |
1 8oz can crushed pineapple in juice |
1 tablespoon(s) brown sugar |
2 teaspoon(s) butter |
1.5 teaspoon(s) cornstarch |
1/8 teaspoon(s) ground nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Combine carrots with 1 cup water in sauce pan. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer til carrots are tender (about 10 min). Drain and return to pan. Add pineapple, sugar, butter, and nutmeg. 2. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup water and add to carrot mixture. Heat, stirring, til sauce thickens. |
