Carrots In Dilled Wine Sauce

These are so good. Easy is not the word. They slow cook to perfection in a crockpot. The dill, garlic, onion, lemon juice all meld together to make a very delightful side dish. I like to serve this with roasted chicken and asiago mashed potatoes. Read more . Yummy
Ingredients:
8 medium carrots cut into small sticks
1/2 cup chicken bouillon
1/2 cup dry white wine
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
2 teaspoons instant minced onion
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons cold water
Directions:
1. Place carrots in slow cooking pot.
2. Combine bouillon, wine, dill, onion, garlic salt and lemon juice.
3. Pour over carrots.
4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
5. Dissolve cornstarch in water.
6. Stir into carrot mixture.
7. Cook on HIGH 10 minutes or until slightly thickened.
