A nice way to get the kids to eat their carrots Ingredients:
6 carrots, peeled, cut diagonally |
1 tsp. olive oil |
2 tbls. butter |
3 tbls. brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Cook carrots in boiling water until tender 2. Place in ice water 3. Drain 4. Heat oil in a large skillet 5. Put carrots in pan and sear until lightly brown 6. Add butter and brown sugar 7. Cook until sugar melts and becomes caramelized |
