CARROT RAISIN SLAW This recipe came from an Estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Corbett Estate in Fate, Texas in 1986. Ingredients:
5 carrots shredded |
1 cup thin sliced celery |
1/2 cup thin sliced onion |
3/4 cup raisins |
dressing |
4 tablespoons sour cream |
4 tablespoons mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. Combine slaw ingredients in a bowl. 2. Mix dressing ingredients together then add to slaw. 3. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. |
