3 cups carrot juice |
1/4 cup light brown sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine the carrot juice and brown sugar, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Refrigerate until cold. Freeze in 1 or 2 batches in your ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s directions. When finished, the granita will be soft and have the consistency of a sorbet. 2. Transfer to a freezer-safe container and freeze to harden. To serve, scrape the top of the granita with a heavy ice cream spade or. 3. scoop, to create shaved ice crystals.
