From a cookbook for kids Ingredients:
1 small carrot, shredded |
1 cup water |
1 pinch salt |
1 pinch cinnamon |
1/4 cup raisins |
1/2 cup oats |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons walnuts, chopped |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine carrots, waer, salt and cinnamon and bring to a boil. reduce heat, add raisins and simmer for about 3 minutes. 2. Stir in the oats and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. 3. Transfer to a bowl and add the brown sugar and nuts. |
