Simple, Easy, and a Classic Ingredients:
3/4 cup vegetable oil |
3/4 cup sugar |
2 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 1/2 cups carrots, grated |
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celcius. Butter a 10″ tube or bundt pan. 2. Blend oil and sugar. Add eggs, beating well after each addition. 3. Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Add to the egg mixture. Stir completely. 4. Fold in carrots. 5. Pour batter into the pan and bake about 50 minutes, or until a wooden skewer comes out clean when inserted into the cake. Cool, then remove from pan by inverting onto a plate. |
