This recipe is from . I am planning on making this for a dinner party I am throwing in honor of a friend who has been really successful with Weight Watchers. I'd like to print out a menu for her with the points values. Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour |
2 1/4 ounces yellow cornmeal |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon allspice |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon clove |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2 cups shredded carrots |
1 1/4 cups water |
3/4 cup golden raisin |
1/2 cup honey |
2 tablespoons vegetable oil |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Combine all ingredients given, in order, in large bowl. 3. Pour batter into two 9-inch layer pans or one 9x13 inch pan. 4. Bake until center tests done, approximately 25 minutes for layers and 30 to 35 minutes for 9x13 inch. |
