Loaded with vitamin A, this first rate smoothie is the perfect jump-start to the day. Ingredients:
3 medium carrots, sliced |
3/4 cup boiling water |
1 cup apple juice or 1 cup apple cider, chilled |
Directions:
1. In covered small saucepan, cook carrot in the boiling water about 15 minutes or until very tender; do not drain. Cool slightly. 2. Transfer carrot mixture to blender. Add apple juice. Cover and blend until smooth. Chill before serving. |
