This chicken mousse has a 'special' ingredient that sets the recipe apart from others of its kind! Ingredients:
2 cans of underwood chicken spread (this is a must !) |
1 can cream of chicken soup , undiluted |
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened |
1/2 cup mayonnaise |
1/2 cup whipping cream |
1/4 cup green onion, minced |
1/2 cup celery, minced |
1/2 cup green pepper, minced |
1 small jar pimento, minced |
salt and pepper to taste |
1/4 cup cold water |
1 envelope knox gelatin |
Directions:
1. Heat chicken soup till hot..DO NOT Boil ! 2. Add cream cheese 3. While cream cheese melts ...in small bowl mix gelatin with cold water 4. until completely dissolved 5. When cream cheese is completely blended in soup, add gelatin and 6. cool to room temperature 7. In large bowl put chicken soup mixture and fold in ALL other 8. ingredients including the chicken spread 9. Turn mixture into a well-oiled Mold 10. Refrigerate OVERNIGHT or at least 6 hours, until set 11. Serve with any kind of crackers, or toast points |
